Global Electronics Retailer - Sales Analysis

This project focused on analyzing and visualizing data from a global electronics company, leveraging the full power of Power BI to uncover actionable insights. Here’s how I approached it step by step:

1️⃣ Dataset Selection: I chose a multi-table dataset (Sales, Customers, Products, Stores) that presented a complex structure. This challenge allowed me to showcase advanced data analysis techniques.

2️⃣ Initial Data Exploration: I thoroughly reviewed the dataset, creating an entity-relationship diagram to map key connections and understand the overall data landscape.

3️⃣ Data Cleaning and Transformation: Using Power Query, I cleaned and transformed the data—renaming columns, standardizing formats, and eliminating inconsistencies to ensure a robust and accurate data model.

4️⃣ Calculated Columns: I built custom metrics such as profit margins, delivery timelines, and customer segmentation by age, leveraging advanced formulas to enrich the dataset.

5️⃣ DAX Measures and Dynamic Analysis: I designed measures like Total Sales, Profit, Year-over-Year Growth, and key percentage metrics, enabling dynamic and scalable insights across the dashboard.

6️⃣ Visualization Design: The final dashboard included dedicated tabs for Sales, Products, Stores, and Customers, featuring interactive filters and intuitive visuals tailored for executive decision-making.
